Memorial Prism Suncatcher – Personalized Engraved Rainbow Remembrance Gift

Memorial Prism Suncatcher – Personalized Engraved Clear Rainbow Remembrance Gift

A meaningful memorial gift made to bring light, color, and remembrance into a sunny room.

Personalized engraving on the glass dome is included with this memorial suncatcher.

This handmade 6-inch SunRain Prism Suncatcher features a clear resin center, 25 genuine Asfour Egyptian lead-crystal chandelier prisms, and a personalized engraved glass dome. When direct sunlight reaches the crystal, vivid natural rainbows appear across walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, and other surfaces.

Each time the rainbows return, they can serve as a gentle reminder of someone special.

Personalized Engraving Included

Choose a name, dates, initials, or a short memorial message to be permanently engraved on the glass dome.

The clear glass dome is engraved on the back so the lettering is viewed through the glass for a clean, finished appearance.

Because the dome is sent out for engraving, please allow 7–10 business days for processing before shipment.

How Personalization Works

Text Length

Short engraving works best.

A practical limit is 30 characters, depending on the wording and selected font. Choose from the font options offered with this listing. If you are unsure whether your wording will fit, please contact me before ordering.

Rainbow Memorial Card Included

Each Memorial Prism Suncatcher includes the “Rainbow Memorial” card, written especially to accompany this gift.

The card reflects on sunlight, rainbows, crystal, and refracted light as reminders of the people whose lives continue to stay with us.

An optional personal gift message may also be included with your order or added to the card.

A Lasting Alternative to Traditional Sympathy Gifts

Flowers eventually fade. A SunRain Prism Suncatcher is designed to remain in the home, returning its rainbow display whenever direct sunlight reaches the crystal.

It can be given after the loss of a parent, spouse, sibling, friend, grandparent, or other loved one as a lasting remembrance gift.

What Makes SunRain Different

A SunRain Prism Suncatcher is made with 25 genuine Asfour Egyptian lead-crystal chandelier prisms arranged individually around a cast-resin center.

Rather than relying on a single hanging prism, the radial design places many crystal surfaces in sunlight at once. As the sun changes position, different facets catch the light and the rainbow display moves and changes naturally throughout the room.

Direct sunlight is required. A bright room without direct sunlight reaching the crystal will not produce the same rainbow effect.

Handmade Construction

Each SunRain is handmade one at a time in my Omaha studio.

I cast the resin center, position the crystal prisms individually in the radial arrangement, secure the assembly, clean and polish the crystal, and inspect the finished piece before shipping.

Small differences between pieces are normal because each one is handmade.

From the Maker

I first made a SunRain for my granddaughter. When she saw the rainbows moving around her bedroom, she said:

“There’s rainbows everywhere!”

That reaction became the inspiration behind SunRain.

I’m a retired engineer turned artist, and these pieces combine two things I have always enjoyed: geometry and light. Every SunRain is made by me in my Omaha studio.
