DIY Prism Suncatcher Kit – Make Your Own Crystal Rainbow Suncatcher

$60.00

MAKE YOUR OWN CRYSTAL RAINBOW SUNCATCHER

Build your own SunRain-style prism suncatcher with a DIY kit that combines genuine Asfour Egyptian lead-crystal prisms, a cast-resin center, and the hardware needed to create a finished hanging piece.

This kit is designed for people who enjoy hands-on projects, crystal, geometry, color, and the satisfaction of assembling something that becomes both décor and a working light display.

When direct sunlight reaches the finished prisms, the crystal separates white light into vivid natural rainbow spectra that move across walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, and other surfaces.

What’s Included

Your kit includes the parts needed to assemble one prism suncatcher, including:

  • Genuine Asfour Egyptian lead-crystal chandelier prisms
  • Resin center component
  • Connecting hardware
  • Hanging chain
  • Hanging hardware
  • Assembly instructions
  • Cleaning cloth

If your current kit contains a fixed number and size of prisms, I would state those exact details here.

What You’ll Make

The finished piece is designed to hang in a sunny window where direct sunlight can reach the faceted crystal.

As the sun moves, the rainbow display changes naturally throughout the day.

The finished suncatcher becomes both a handmade decorative object and a working demonstration of refraction and dispersion.

Who This Kit Is For

This kit can be a good fit for:

  • Adults who enjoy DIY projects
  • Crystal and prism enthusiasts
  • Art and science lovers
  • Makers and crafters
  • Gift projects
  • Parent-and-older-child projects with adult supervision
  • Anyone who wants to understand how a prism suncatcher is assembled

Direct Sunlight Is Required

A bright room alone is not enough.

The finished suncatcher works best when direct sunlight reaches the crystal prisms. East-, south-, and west-facing windows can all work depending on the season and surroundings.

Safety

This kit contains real glass crystal and small hardware components.

It is not a toy and should be assembled and used with appropriate care. Adult supervision is recommended if younger people are involved.

Once completed, hang the suncatcher securely and out of reach of small children and pets.

Handmade in Omaha

The kit is prepared in my Omaha, Nebraska studio using the same type of Asfour crystal and materials used in my finished SunRain Prism Suncatchers.
